Turkey Day

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, let’s take a moment to think about what we’re thankful for; quality men’s wear.

Here are some tips for showing up to dinner in style, and comfort.

Thanksgiving dinners are an all day affair for most families, so we recommend dressing in something comfortable. A nice designer pair of jeans with a little bit of stretch, like the insanely comfortable Maceoo stretch jeans, are a great start.

A nice comfortable pair of denim is perfect for playing with your nieces and nephews without feeling restricted, and will still pair well with a quality polo or dress shirt.

Which leads us to our next tip, don’t overdress. Instead of going all out for Thanksgiving dinner, dress more on the casual side. Most likely no one will notice the absence of a full suit, it’s not the forties after all.

(A Maceoo polo shirt will get everyone’s attention at the dinner table.)

Pair your comfortable denim with a designer men’s shirt, like the polo we mentioned above. Maintain some breathing room after eating a dangerous amount of turkey and stuffing, while still looking great.

Next up is advice your mom always gave you when you were younger, bring a warm coat.

It’s a perfect accessory for when dinner gets awkward after your uncle starts ranting about politics and you have to go outside and wait for the fight to end. You’re gonna need to take breaks from your family, and it’s best to do it with a warm coat.

And finally, we recommend you have an exit strategy ready to go. If you’re not prepared with a fully loaded excuse, be prepared to be stuck looking at family albums from thirty years ago over stale coffee and old pumpkin pie.

The alternative is an Irish Goodbye, leaving quietly without telling anyone, which will most likely lead to you not being invited to Christmas dinner, and considering how you look at it, might be a win!
